Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

It never sounded
like this.

Royal Enfield built the 650 twin to pass emissions. We built what it should have sounded like. Bolt-on, no cutting, fits every model year since launch.

Stock vs Barrel — same bike, same road

No editing, no studio. Stock first, then the Bass Master. Headphones recommended.

What we build for

We don't build the loudest. We build the best sounding.

There is a thin line between loud and good, and most cheap pipes never find it. Anyone can make an exhaust louder — drill out the baffles and you're done. Tuning one to sound right across the whole rev range is a different job. That is what the last eight years have gone into, and it is the difference between a Barrel and a local pipe.

The choice

Two exhausts. One decision.

Short can or long can. The lightest slip-on on the market, or the best bass ever put on a 650 twin. Both bolt straight on.

ATOM first, then Bass Master. Same bike, same road, same day.

ATOM

Short can · Since 2018

The short can. True British braap — sharp, clean, and unmistakably a twin. Eight years in production and still the lightest slip-on you can buy for this bike.

BASS MASTER BE-10

Long can · King of bass

The long can. The deepest, fullest note we have ever put on a 650 twin — and the reason most people find us. Not the loudest exhaust you can buy. The best sounding one.

Fitment

One exhaust. Both twins. Every year.

Royal Enfield has not changed the 650 twin mounting since launch. The same exhaust fits the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650, on every model year built. No year lookup, no variant confusion, no guessing — if you ride a 650 twin, it fits.

The ATOM is the lightest slip-on on the market for this bike — 3.5 kg for the pair against 11 kg of stock muffler. That is not a spec-sheet number. It comes off the rear of the bike, high up, which is exactly where weight hurts handling most. You feel it turning in.

Before you order

The questions we actually get asked.

Do I need a remap or fuel controller?

No. It's a plug-and-play slip-on on the stock mounts. No remap, no fuel controller, no dealer visit.

Will it be too loud for daily riding?

Every Barrel exhaust ships with a removable DB killer. Leave it in for the commute, take it out for the weekend. And we tune for sound, not volume — this isn't the loudest pipe you can buy, it's the best sounding one.

Will it rust?

It's 304 stainless steel. The stock mufflers are painted mild steel — which is what rusts. Both our black and mirror polish finishes are on stainless underneath.

Can I fit it myself?

Yes. It uses the stock mounting points — no cutting, no welding, no workshop. Around 30 to 45 minutes with basic tools.

Will I lose power?

No. Lower back pressure gives sharper throttle response and a small gain at the top end. The bike feels quicker to respond, not slower.

Does it affect my Royal Enfield warranty?

REPLACE THIS with your actual answer. It's one of the first questions a GT 650 owner asks, and an honest answer builds more trust than silence.

“After riding my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 with the Barrel BE-10 Bass Master for a week, I can confidently now write down the review and say that this is one of the best decisions I’ve made for my bike. I legit spent weeks researching every possible exhaust, the AEW TE101, TE102, TE103, Red Rooster, Silver Stallion, and at the last tbh I got to know about Barrel. I watched countless videos, read reviews, and asked endless questions because I wanted an exhaust that wasn’t just loud. I wanted something with a deep bass, beautiful pops on deceleration, comfortable highway cruising, and a premium sound that made every ride enjoyable. The Barrel BE-10 delivered exactly that. The exhaust note is deep and refined, the pops on downshifts bring a smile to my face every single time, and highway rides are enjoyable without being tiring. Every time I press the starter, the bike feels like it has its own personality now. It sounds exactly the way I always imagined my Interceptor should. A huge thanks to Vishal from Barrel Exhaust for patiently answering my questions and giving me the confidence to make the right choice. Your support before and after the purchase was truly appreciated and an even bigger thank you to my brother Zain, you believed in the Barrel BE-10 from the beginning and kept telling me to trust your decision. Looking back now, you were absolutely right. Every ride reminds me that I made the perfect choice. To anyone who’s confused like I was don’t choose an exhaust just because someone says it’s the best choose the one that matches the kind of riding you love. For me, the Barrel BE-10 Bass Master has been everything I hoped for and more. Thank you, Barrel Exhaust, for making every ride something I look forward to. You’ve turned an already amazing motorcycle into one that puts a smile on my face every single time I twist the throttle.”

“I had this sudden urge last night to modify my Powerage full system exhaust by switching to shorter end cans on my Interceptor. I felt it went with the build more than my long cans. Gave Vishal a call at Barrel Exhausts around 6pm. Most places don’t even answer after hours, but he said I could come anytime, he’s free until 10pm. Went right over, and he went out of his way to install their Barrel Atom for me to try. We tested it with baffles in and out, rode it around to check the sound and performance. Had a long, engaging conversation with Vishal, Giri (Mr.Barrel), and their chief engineer (didn’t quite catch his name). We all chatted at length about motorcycles, life, and technical stuff while doing more test rides. What a lovely team! They had quite a few new products in development and it was exciting to see. I’m really enjoying the new look and performance benefits. They’re also customizing a shield built to my exact specifications. Great establishment with top-quality products and even better people. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get an exhaust made or upgraded.”

“I recently installed the Barrel Bass Master BE-10 exhaust on my Royal Enfield GT 650 and the difference is amazing. The sound is deep, bass-heavy, and extremely satisfying without being harsh. It gives the GT 650 a strong, muscular exhaust note that perfectly matches the bike’s character, especially during acceleration and downshifts. BUILD QUALITY feels premium and solid, and the fitment on the GT 650 was spot on. Installation was straightforward, and the exhaust instantly upgraded the bike’s overall presence. Throttle response feels smoother, and the bike feels more lively while riding. Overall, the Barrel Bass Master BE-10 is an excellent choice for GT 650 owners who want a powerful, refined sound with great build quality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance both the look and the audio experience of their bike. As this is the best thing you will find Because* It eats 10 RRP exhaust for breakfast”
